What free means here
Every part of this tool is free: HD quality, unlimited downloads, phone and desktop, no account. It's the same downloader as our main Pinterest video downloader page — this page exists so people searching for a genuinely free option know exactly what they're getting.
There's no watermark added and no quality cap. The file you save is the one Pinterest itself serves for the pin.
Works with pin.it links and the app
Copy the link from the Pinterest app's Share button — pin.it short links work as-is. Image pins and animated pins are covered too, on the image and GIF pages.
If a download doesn't work
Private and deleted pins can't be fetched — check that the link opens in a normal browser tab first. If a public pin fails here, tell us through the contact page and we'll fix it.
Frequently asked questions
Is it really free, or free with a catch?
Really free. There's no trial period, no daily download cap, no 'premium quality' upsell and no account. Paste a link, save the video, done.
Do you add a watermark to the video?
No. You get the file Pinterest serves, untouched. Sites that stamp their logo on your download are giving you less than free.
Why do some 'free' downloaders end up asking for money?
A common pattern is a free tier capped at low quality or a few downloads a day, with the real tool behind a subscription. hhhdownload has one tier: the whole thing, free.
Do I need an account or the Pinterest app?
No. This page runs on its own in your browser — you never sign in to Pinterest here, and there's no app or extension to install.
Where does the file save to?
On a computer it goes to your Downloads folder. On a phone, check your Downloads or Files app (on iPhone, look in Files › Downloads).
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. The same page works in Safari, Chrome and every modern mobile browser.
Can you download private videos from Pinterest?
No. Pins on secret boards only render for their owner, so there's no public page to read — and we don't try.
