MP3 is what SoundCloud's stream already is, so there's no conversion step on this page and nothing to configure — the file is handed over in the container it arrives in.
That's worth saying because converters usually add a re-encode, and re-encoding a lossy file to another lossy format always costs quality while often growing the file. Skipping that step is the whole advantage here.

When you play a track on SoundCloud without signing in, the site sends your browser a 128 kbps MP3. hhhdownload asks for that same file and passes it to you unchanged, which is why the download is quick and sounds exactly like the web player.
