Download SoundCloud audio tracks the easy way
Albums on SoundCloud use the same /sets/ URL shape as playlists but mean something different: a release the artist assembled, rather than a collection someone curated. Every streamable track on it is listed here with its own button.
Independent artists often post an album to SoundCloud alongside a paid release elsewhere, so what streams here may be a subset of the full record. Tracks held back for the paid version simply won't appear in the list.
What quality you get from SoundCloud
Each track at SoundCloud's 128 kbps stream, in the artist's running order, with track numbers preserved in the filenames so the sequence holds together in a player. Cover art has its own page if you want it at full size.
How album links look
An album URL is soundcloud.com/artist/sets/album-name — the same shape as a playlist. Copy it from the album page in a browser, or use Share › Copy link in the app.

What you get per track
A 128 kbps MP3 — the same stream SoundCloud plays in the browser — named after the track and numbered in album order. We don't re-encode it, so nothing is lost between the SoundCloud player and your file.
Albums up to 50 tracks are read in full. That covers essentially every real album; very long compilations are read up to that point.
Keep the record, back the artist
A SoundCloud album can disappear overnight — storage limits, label deals, or an artist wiping their account. Your own copy is the only one you control.
If the album matters to you, follow the artist and buy it where they sell it. Downloading is for listening; buying is what funds the next album.
If a download doesn't work
SoundCloud fails are usually a Go+ preview-only track, a private upload, or an artist who turned streaming off for that song — the error message says which one it was.

No. Private tracks and private share links stay private — we only read what SoundCloud streams to a logged-out visitor.
What's the difference between an album and a playlist here?

Do I get the album artwork as well?

Are the tracks in album order?
Yes. Files are numbered in the album's own order and named after each track, so the record stays in sequence on your device.
Should I buy the album instead?
If the artist sells it, yes — and many link a store or Bandcamp page right on the track. A purchase gets you a proper master and keeps the artist making records.
